I find the yarn I use for my gloves is quite soft and not scratchy like some cheaper acrylic yarns<3

To keep your crochet fingerless gloves in the best condition, gently hand wash with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Pat dry with a towel to get excess water out and lay flat to dry on a towel :)
